Comments: I never would have thought I'd have more than one S/X fic up here, but this one is too good to pass up, seriously. I mean, much as I like Willow liking girls (and was a W/T 'shipper from the moment Tara appeared on the show), Xander as the gay one? Makes so much sense.

The Big Picture

Comments: Fascinating and completely original: a rare thing in this fandom, but Alison has it down. I'm a biased beta, but seriously. (Sadly, I don't know that this will ever be finished.)

A Forfeit of Dreams

Description: Sarah returns to the Labyrinth to save a friend. An unwise bargain has put her in danger of losing her soul itself if she fails . . . and Jareth has every intention that she will.
Comments: This is considered one of the best Labyrinth fic of all time; and with good reason. It's truly excellent. The characterizations are incredible, the writing is fabulous . . . and although it is a "Sarah returns to the Labyrinth, and Jareth loves her/wants revenge" story (possibly the most common plot in the fandom) . . . it manages to be original. Damn. If you ever read a Labyfic, read this one. I'll warn you, however: have time. I was up until four a.m. on a work night because I couldn't stop reading.

Guardian Angel

Description: "Then you do desire me." His eyes glittered. I gestured helplessly. "Of course I do. I'm not dead, after all." When Sarah has a horseback riding accident, Jareth decides it's finally time to step into her life again. But, it's not that easy.
Comments: This could be a standard "Jareth brings Sarah back to the Labyrinth, is suddenly all nice, and wants her to be his queen" fic. I usually avoid those. However, the dialogue is snappy, and while Jareth's characterization isn't necessarily my interpretation, Sarah is very good and the fic is clever and makes an important point.

Out Of His Depth

Comments: I suppose this has a lot of extra charm for me since my friend wrote it about my school and hometown, but really, it's a kickass idea. She did it for her own Hometown Challenge. Read it and you'll get snatches of my town and its history, as well as an interesting new perspective on the film.
