I have *finally* stopped watching this show. And I've never felt so free. Occasionally I will read fic for it, but mostly, I have ceased to care about these characters in the slightest. So it goes without saying that everything here not new is really, *really* old.

At the Fifteenth Annual Evil Mastermind Convention by Basingstoke. Crossover with Austin Powers, and it's just too funny. Totally pokes fun at the show, which is the kind of thing I love to read.

Cake and Pie by Debchan. Fluff. Silly, adorable fluff. And while I'm at it, read everything else by Debchan as well -- it's all good.

Flying Blind by Redheaded Firecracker. "Hug" turned AU -- Lex is the one in the clearing with Clark, instead of Chloe.

Forum by Andariel. This is...well, hot. It actually almost falls into the "too much sex" category (there really *is* such a thing, I swear!) but it's...hot. And involves gender-bending, which usually isn't a kink of mine, but this story makes it work.

Jilling by Te. Chloe wankfic. Since I like Chloe no matter who she's with, this is a lot of fun.

Kill Switch by s.a. Angsty as heck. Even for a SV fic. One of those stab-you-in-the-gut endings.

Lucifer in Starlight by Brighid. Unbelievably beautiful writing, especially compared to the sparse-ness of most SV fic.

Marked by Jenn. I don't always like Jenn's writing; there's something about it that just doesn't click with me. That being said, I love this story. Kinky and cute, in the "I have such trust issues because my father is SATAN" way.

Metropolis Confidential by Hope. BWAH! is pretty much all I have to say about this story. I love spoofs.

Not In Kansas Anymore by Merry. Canadian Shack, anyone? Angst and sex. In Canada. With crackers and Kryptonite.

Room 101 by Jacquez. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good literary reference. Not really slash, just Lex being his creepy self.

Sixty Miles an Hour by Thamiris. I love Tham's writing, but even I was wary of this. A Lex/Clark/Whitney threesome? Sounds totally implausible. But I read it, and realized it wasn't, and GAH.

Subtext by Te. This rec is here purely for Bub's sake, since she's the one CLex 'shipper I know who hasn't already read it fifty times.

Tumbleweed by Jintian. A fic in which Chloe and Lois Lane are most definitely not related in any way. Damn, it's nice to see Chloe with a woman with some *backbone.*

Uncle Einar by Shrift. Yes, her again. Clark and Lex attend a Kent family reunion. I'm running out of ways to say "it's funny as hell" so just take my word for it, hm?

Lovers and Dreamers by Amy. I know I've said this before, but seriously? My favorite Smallville fic. Because it's a MUPPETS CROSSOVER. Yes. With great plot twists and Pepe the shrimp and yeah, even a CLexy ending. Perfection.

Omiai by Rose Emily. Clark needs money and Lex needs a wife--a long, fantastic AU ensues.
